AWBC,23: Worldreader partners Achievers Ghana to launch a “Zongo Read Project”

Worldreader, an NGO that provides digital reading solutions, has partnered Achievers Ghana, a community-based NGO, to launch a “Zongo Read Project”. The event which took place on June 2, 2023, at the Maamobi Gale Community Library, is part of Worldreader's activities geared toward celebrating the Accra World Book Capital, 2023. The event was attended by representatives of the Worldreader, the Achievers Ghana, the Accra World Book Capital Secretariat, parents and guardians, community leaders, school children and the media. In the short term (from June, 2023 to September, 2023), the project seeks to encourage 200 families within the communities and households of Ayawaso East and North Municipalities to read 25 assorted reading books.
