A delegation from Accra World Book Capital, 2023, led by the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Mrs Elizabeth Naa Kwaatso Tawiah Sackey was at  the closing ceremony of the Tbilisi World Book Capital 2021.

Publicity of Accra's designation as UNESCO World Book Capital, 2023 to the international community is ongoing at the Ghana stand (opportunity district) of Expo 2020 Dubai.

The city also intends to use the platform to attract investors/partners/collaborators/sponsors for the various projects earmarked for the title year.
