The African Publishers Network (APNET) has declared its support for Accra to be designated as the UNESCO world book capital.

In a letter signed by its Chairman, Samuel Kolawole, APNET, which is an association of publishers from than forty countries in Africa, pledged its full support for Accra’s bid for the 2023 title.
